The groom got cold feet just 6 days before the wedding, and backed out. The bride and her family donated the entire party to the senior center across the street from the wedding venue. Just because you have a tight budget doesn’t mean your wedding can’t be beautiful and fun. Often times it’s the exact opposite. I’ve attached a link to an interesting article I saw on CNN/Oprah.com last week. It has some great ideas and thoughts, but I thought the *most* interesting part was at the extreme bottom of the article under “Sound Off”. These are the readers comments to the article, and there are a number of really great ideas there. Everyone’s situation and available resources are different, but the range of ideas there is quite impressive.
